Almost every one loves winter season, snowfall and hills covered with ice. We would like to tell you that Oymyakon, Russia, is the coldest village on Earth. Population of this village is 500. A Russian scientist registered the lowest temperature -71.2 °C (−96.2 °F) of this village in 1924. Average temperature of this village is -50 °C (−58 °F).
Can you imagine how is life there? You can only imagine but not sure how difficult or easy is this place to live. Many thanks to Amos Chapple, a New Zealand-based photojournalist who decided to visit there and take extreme pictures of the coldest place. People survive one meat there as frozen weather not support any kind of crop. They love food like white salmon, arctic fish, horse liver and whitefish. They use to have soup and meat in daily routine.
As per photographer “I was wearing only trouser when i stood outside into -47 °C. He remember those moment and said that I felt like cold was gripping both my legs. Temperature was too less to freeze my saliva into needles that would prick lips as well”.
