5 of The Most Common Facebook Ad Mistakes

Digital marketing has become an important aspect of the business world. No matter what kind of business you are running, you need to promote and advertise your products and services on popular online platforms so that you can reach more and more people. When it comes to online marketing, the Facebook ad campaign is one of the most popular. The thing about Facebook is that it started out as a social media site which was only used for communication purposes in the initial days but over time it has become one of the most powerful tools for business marketing campaigns.
Although, Facebook provides you with a lot of opportunities, at the same time it also comes with a number of potential mistakes that you can make.
So let us look at the top 5 Facebook Ad mistakes that you need to avoid as a Facebook ad agency to enhance your performance.
1. Keep showing your ad to the same audience
If you are new to the Facebook ad campaign then it is quite easy for you to forget about the targeted audience. Most people believe that the content that they share will automatically reach to new people but that is not the case. If you keep targeting the same set of eyes with your ads, they will eventually get tired of it so it is important that you don’t over overstay your welcome.
Always stay connected to your campaign and monitor the feedback and the comments that you get on a regular basis so that you know when it is time to move on to a new audience. Every piece of content will have its own shelf life so it is important that you monitor the outcome that you are getting to make a rational decision on whether you should move on or not.
2. Rapid changes are not stable
When it comes to marketing, you need a lot of patience. Nothing is going to happen overnight. So you can’t possibly expect your Facebook Ads to give you a high rate of return within hours. Instead of believing that your changes are not effective, try to give them some time.
Remember that it is going to take time to leave the ad after it has been edited once for about 24-48 hours and then go for the results. If you don’t see positive effects then go ahead and change it but don’t change it just because it didn’t do anything in a few hours. That is just irrational.
3. Multiple testing at the same time
It is quite common for advertisers to test multiple marketing techniques at the same time to save some time. Even though it is an effective method but in most cases, it affects your campaign in a negative manner.
You need to have a baseline to test everything. You can’t possibly test everything at the same time because you won’t be able to figure out which technique worked best for you. So, establish a baseline first and then test one technique at a time to figure out whether it is effective or not.
4. Forgetting your settings
Most people would simply just get done with the initial legwork and leave the rest on Facebook to handle. This is a huge mistake that advertisers make. You need to monitor the performance of your site on daily basis to check whether it is working properly or not because if you don’t check up on it regularly then you won’t know what is wrong or how you can fix it.
5. Not documenting everything
It is important that you document everything. Even though Facebook keeps a track of stuff that you do but it is important that you keep a personal track of all the techniques as well to figure out which one worked and which one didn’t so that you know what you need to do for your next ad campaign.

The VR Backpack is The Closest Thing We Have To True Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality (VR) has come a very long way in a few short years, and its meteoric rise has meant that the technology has advanced leaps and bounds. Apart from the gaming industry, VR is becoming an indispensable tool in other industries, like healthcare, construction, sports, and the auto industry, where Siddharth Kashyap discussed how VR is valuable as a training and design tool. But, while a truly realistic VR experience requires a tethered connection to a stationary PC or laptop, a new VR evolution, the VR backpack is set to become a game-changer offering total VR freedom.
Why VR Backpacks
VR backpacks include features and components found in the highest-end gaming PCs and laptops but redesigned into a smaller, lightweight wearable chassis where the only limits are how big of an area you can play in and the backpack’s battery life. They are built to be durable and specifically engineered with VR in mind: from specialized designs that optimize airflow away from the body to hot-swappable batteries for extended use and the position of the various ports.
Additionally, due to their powerful RTX Nvidia GPUs, VR backpacks also meet and even exceed the minimum industry standards for performance set by major VR manufacturers like HTC, Oculus, and Valve. With this in mind, companies like HP, and MSI, among others, have come up with what is essentially a powerful mini PC you can strap to your back, for a truly immersive VR experience.
HP VR Backpack G2
HP has had a few VR backpack offerings on the market in the last couple of years, from the HP Omen X to the business-orientated HP Z VR Backpack G1 Workstation, but their latest, the HP VR Backpack G2 crams the latest hardware and is touted by Gizmodo as the world’s most compact VR desktop. Updated with an 8th gen Intel Core i7 CPU, Nvidia RTX 2080 with 8GB of dedicated GDDR6 memory and 16GB of system memory, the result is a powerful PC for a wide range of applications.
From gaming to development, HP’s latest backpack delivers the closest thing to true VR freedom. This is why the HP VR Backpack G2 is built for both commercial as well as home use, making it a potentially useful tool for architects, museums, retailers, and virtually any business that can come up with a way to leverage it. The HP backpack can also be used as a valuable training tool or 3D development station. The only downside is the one-hour battery life, however, with hot-swappable batteries you never have to take more than a quick break to extend your VR session.
MSI VR One Backpack PC
Unlike the HP G2, MSI’s VR backpack looks like a futuristic powerpack right out of a sci-fi film. The VR One Backpack PC is a sleek and aerodynamic powerhouse, that weighs just 3.6Kg. Unlike HP’s latest offering, however, MSI’s guts are a generation older, with an overclocked 7th gen Core i7 and Nvidia 1070 GTX GPU. Having said that, it’s still powerful enough to handle the most intensive VR games, but you won’t be able to take advantage of the RTX’s real-time ray tracing, AI-based scalable performance, and programmable shading.
While MSI’s product is less of a dual-purpose design than the HP system, and it’s hot-swappable batteries are part of the main body, it can still be used as a desktop PC when needed. Where the VR One excels, though, is with its 90-minute battery life, and price around $1,600 – $1,700 that’s almost half that of HP’s. At $3,200 MSRP, the HP will be out of reach for most casual gamers, but its performance will appeal to hard-core gaming enthusiasts, developers and businesses that require the walkabout freedom afforded by a high-end VR backpack.
