No doubt, ‘Netflix and chill’ has become our favourite life rule. When we started watching Netflix, we almost forgot everything else in our life that was important to us. We forget our family, friends, colleagues, not going to the gym and moreover, we stopped eating even. I believe that there is no fault of ours as Netflix produces great content which can keep you hooked for long. Not only Netflix, even Amazon Prime, Viu, Voot and Hot star also have great content to watch. But do you think it’s worth watching leaving everything else behind?

Here’s what happened with us when we finally cancelled our favourite Netflix subscription. Have a look.
1. Completed reading a book in one day
This was one of the biggest achievements which I had got after cancelling my Netflix subscription. Believe me, it was a waste of time watching those shows. Though they were enticing and engaging still they can’t beat a book. Believe me, I had completed one whole book after two years and it feels great.
2. Got reconnected to family again
Seriously, I felt so good after reconnecting with my family members again. Listening to those lectures from Papa and Mamma looked so funny to me which I was missing from such a long time as I was totally occupied in watching the stranger things on Netflix. I am loving that I got my family back.
3. Started gymming again
Health is the most important thing than anything else in our life. Even I started neglecting that. I stopped eating healthy food, I stopped going to the gym that affected my health very much and I am noticing that change in me.
4. Slept nicely after so long
I forgot to sleep even because every time I kept watching those English shows on Netflix. I realized suddenly that I am wasting so much time and moreover I am compromising my sleep because of watching these shows. My whole day schedule also used to get disturbed when I kept watching the series and shows on it. Thanks to Netflix for the dark circles below my eyes. *wink*. After taking a break from Netflix, I actually slept well and wake up on time.
5. I went to the movie theater even
When I finally came out of Netflix’s rage, I realized how fat I have become for sitting and watching Netflix the whole day long. So, thought of finally going out and watch a movie with my close friends and believe me I loved spending the quality time with them.
6. I became a better employee
When I had a Netflix fever, I wasn’t able to concentrate on my work also. Even I got so many complaints from my boss regarding my work which used to never happened in my life. It becomes really very awkward and my reputation was in danger. Now, it feels good after giving up Netflix and completing my office tasks on time.
