The first few months of any relationship is the honeymoon phase and the lovebirds are painting the town in red and cannot see beyond each other. However like all good things, this phase gets over and we face the realities and then an altogether new aspect or phase of the relationship grows and this is growing in love, the phase after falling in love.
Here are a few things that are deemed to happen in the life of couples after their honeymoon phase ends:
1. A couple start fighting after the honeymoon
In the honeymoon phase the couples do not fight but after the phase, it is bound that they will fight. Two people staying together will have a disagreement and it’s healthy for the relationship.
You grow with the fights how much hurt or angry you are never sleep over a fight resolve the issue before you hit the bed and never let your arrogance or ego come in between your love.
2. Getting annoyed with each other’s habit
During the honeymoon phase, the habits that you ignored or were okay to will now start to annoy you. Like snoring of the partner or throwing a wet towel on the bed. It is okay to get irritated but does not fight over these petty issues rather overlook them.
3. No more PDLA is required
You are together forever so the display of those silly acts of PDLA is not required anymore. You are comfortable with each other and do not need someone to certify this. Thus holding hands in public is not required anymore.
4. You can do your own stuff
Love is being together but however not doing the same thing together. The two of the couple can sit together in the same room and do the work they want to do without having the guilt feeling that the other person will get bored. The man can watch his match and you can simply read your novel sitting next to him.
5. Give space to each other
After the honeymoon phase, the couple realizes that they have their own world, their own commitments and friend circles. They are together but can still hang out with their old friends and do not always need to hang out together. They grant each other the much needed ‘me’ time.
6. They do not need to be dressed up all the time
Your man has seen you in the best of your looks and loves you but once the phase is over and gets to see your worst look that is uncombed hair look or the unshaved face and still loves you. You can chill together in pyjamas and still be the most beautiful person to each other and they know that they will be together forever.
They are rock solid together and have seen the worst of each others mood swings and have fought like cat and dog but still, they know that will be together as they are meant to be together. Their relationship will grow stronger and more beautiful with each passing day.
