1. All bats are vampires
One of the biggest myths we have that all bats are vampires and they want to feed on human blood. Well, this does not hold true. They prefer to feed mostly on cattle as compared to mosquitoes who feed on human blood.
2. Bats are ugly or dirty
Bats do not look ugly or dirty at all. Most of the bats have very cute faces. Some of them even resemble deer, rabbits or little Chihuahuas. Similar to cats, bats spend most of the time in grooming their furs, keeping them silky and soft.

5. Bats try to tangle in your hairs
No! Not at all. Bats do not try to become tangled in your hairs and build a nest over that. So, if you find any bat swooping around you, they are probably after the mosquito that is hovering above your head. And yes, bats do not build nests at all. Instead, they love to live under already-built structures like caves, walls, trees or ceilings.
6. Bats always hang upside down
No, bats do not always hang upside down. Bats do not dangle pointing towards downward. They frequently are horizontal position while taking rest on the branch of a tree and not vertical. So, all the myths related to bats are busted today. How many of you knew about this?
