1. You shouldn’t shower for too long –
Spokesperson of British Skin Foundation says “You probably shouldn’t be showering for more than 20 minutes. Water is an irritant, so the longer you’re in there, the more irritated and dry your skin will become.”
2. Don’t shower daily –
It is advisable not to take a shower every day as it causes harms to your skin’s natural oils. But that doesn’t mean that some lazy people avoid bathing completely.
3. Use less soap –
Soap harms our body as it washes away the bacteria that helps our skin to fight against acne and eczema.
4. Showering with too hot water –
We all like to bathe with hot water. It is so comforting but not to our skin. Actually, bathing with hot water makes your skin dry. Also, it washes away the natural oils of your body. It also makes your skin become more prone to acne and pimple.
5. Don’t use harsh pouf –
We shouldn’t use harsh pouf as it can be harmful to your soft skin. Especially if you have sensitive to dry skin, completely replace your pouf with a washcloth. To form leather, you can use your hands, too.
6. Try to shower in the evening –
We all like to shower in the morning and start our day all clean and fresh. But if we listen to the experts, they advise you to shower at end of the day. It is good for your overall health.
