1. Clean the Bathroom Tiles
Clean the tiles by mixing 1 part hot water with 3 parts baking soda. Soak a sponge with this mixture and use it to scrub your tiles. Then rinse and dry your tiles with a mop. For cleaning tiles, you can also use white vinegar and a cloth or brush. Clean your mirrors by adding 1 volume of Mendon white to 5 volumes of water. Then spread this mixture on your mirror and let it dry. Finally, wipe with a lint-free cotton cloth. You can also clean your mirrors (dusted beforehand) using a cloth soaked in lemon juice and a soft, dry cloth to finish.
2. Rescale Showerhead
Rescale your faucets or showerhead by wrapping it with absorbent paper previously immersed in white vinegar. Leave on for 15 minutes then rub with a dry cloth. Or, you can choose to use a lemon by cutting it in half and cleaning your faucets or showerhead directly with the luscious lemon. Finish by wiping with a dry cloth.
3. Shower Enclousure cleaning
Clean the shower enclosure with a sponge soaked in water or white vinegar and sprinkled with baking soda. Leave on for 15 minutes and finish the process by rinsing and drying with a dry cloth. You can also use a mixture of 100ml of water and 200ml of white vinegar to clean your shower enclosure using a soft cloth. Then rinse and use a dry cloth to dry.
4. Shower Curtain cleaning
Clean your shower curtain to remove traces of mold. To do this, put 2 towels in your washing machine with the shower curtains. Add a small glass of baking soda to the laundry and hop! Start a gentle cycle at 30 degrees. Or choose white vinegar instead of baking soda. But in this case, sprinkle your curtains with white vinegar and gently brush them before turning them to the 30-degree machine cycle.
5. Remove Limescale
To get rid of limescale in the bathroom at the bathtub or the tap, spray white vinegar on the surfaces to be treated and leave for 15 minutes. Then rinse and clean with a microfiber cloth. Lemon is also very effective against limestone.
6. Clean toiler bowl
To clean the toilet bowl, pour baking soda into the bowl and add white vinegar. Let stand overnight then use your usual toilet brush, clean properly, and flush. A tip, if your toilet is in the bathroom, always closes the bowl so as not to stain on the sink or worse, your toothbrush!
7. Clean Mildew
To remove the mildew from your bath mat, sprinkle it with baking soda and rub it with a sponge then rinse and let it dry before putting it back in place. Bath towels are a mushroom nest! Change them to clean them every three days maximum and prefer those with short hair, which dry faster. Where linen flat sheets, blankets, bedding, and towels are kept, they should be cleaned, dried, and placed in plastic containers that are secured and rodent-proof
8. Clean chocked pipes
To open your pipes, mix 2l of boiled water with 3 tablespoons of soda crystals and add 1 glass (200ml) of white vinegar. Pour this solution into the pipes and leave for a few hours. Then let the water run for rinsing.
