If you have some more experience in the cannabis industry, you could be a cannabis grower or gardener.
The specific roles you’re in charge of in this position will be different depending on what company you work for, but overall, the growers are in charge of growing the plant from the point it’s planted to when it needs to be harvested. In some cases, you’ll also be in charge of it after it’s harvested.
You’ll have to know how to grow the plant indoors or outdoors and ensure that all the conditions are good enough for the plant to be able to grow. This includes making sure no bugs or pathogens attack the plant and kill it.
You might have some troubleshooting to make sure the plant grows properly and doesn’t die. You may also have to create new plants through germination or cloning.
If you don’t enjoy working with customers, this might be the perfect job for you.

If you enjoy interacting with customers, a bud receptionist will get plenty of interaction.
The receptionist will talk to customers and also relay the message to the proper team member to fix a problem. You might have to talk to them over the phone, email, or both.
This job doesn’t have as much of a hands-on approach as the growers or trimmers do, but they are still a vital team member to making sure everything goes well.
In addition to dealing with customers, you’ll also have to stay up-to-date on the cannabis laws and make sure the business is compliant with all of them.
Receptionists are normally paid hourly as well, and the wage is around $11 to $15 an hour. However, some companies will even let the customers tip the receptionists, so you could go home with even more money.
The quality inspector is the one who is making sure that the cannabis is up to all federal regulations. These people can work at the cannabis company, but the government also employs them to go and inspect other companies.

Some of them are even responsible for enforcing laws and can take action as they see necessary.
To work as a quality inspector, you have to have a doctorate in some scientific field, but you could also make six figures in this role.
