The international footwear brand, Nike never disappoints us when it comes to development and innovation in its shoes. We have seen many of its premium quality shoes until now which are designed for specific purposes. Now, taking the road ahead, Nike has crafted a special sneaker that is specially designed for medical workers like doctors and nurses who work for long shifts of 12 hours per day. The Nike Air Zoom Pulse trainers are designed in such a way that is easy to wear and simple to clean it off.
They also have an extra comfortable grippy rubber sole, a plastic coating as well as elastic fit. Besides this, these sneakers also have “fit, cushioning and traction systems” to secure the foot of the medical health professionals in all conditions.

Nike conducts product testing at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland
For designing these special sneakers and to meet the challenges of the medical workers, Nike has conducted product testing at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon, to receive worker’s insights. The shoe has been made keeping in mind the hectic schedule of medical professionals.
This is why the shoes are easy to get on and off, easy to fit and easy to clean. They are also laceless which makes them easy to wear at one go using your one hand only. They have a protective PU-coated synthetic vamp and an elastic strap which keeps the heel secured flexible.
Profit from the sale proceeds will be donated to the hospital
All the profit that will be coming from selling the shoes will go to the Portland hospital to the children who are designing their own version of Nike shoes under the Doernbecher Freestyle Program which is a partnership of Nike with the hospital.
