A group of researchers at Loughborough University tried to conduct this research and they tried to evaluate the impact of hot water on the body. The participants in the study were asked to take a one-hour bath (104 degrees Fahrenheit), and then they were asked to ride a bicycle for about an hour.

Now, you must be thinking that riding a bicycle would help you to burn more calories but here comes the surprise. Researchers found that taking a hot bath burns 130 calories which is equal to the calories you burn while taking a 30 minutes’ walk.
