We live in a society where beautiful means having white skin, a toned body, etc. These standards are set by none other than us whom we called as a society. But all the standards shattered when Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa has won the title for Miss Universe 2019 who looks more than beautiful not by her skin but from her heart.
She feels proud to win the title for the 68th edition of the pageant
She is 26-years-old and is proud to win the 68th edition of the prestigious pageant. She has won the title after giving the impressive reply to the questions that she was asked regarding social issues and one final chance to prove why she is the right choice to win this title.
What question was she asked for which she has given a winning reply?
She was asked, ‘What is the most important thing you should be teaching young girls today?’ Her reply to this question has made her win not only the title but also millions of hearts.

She answered this question:
“The most important thing we should teach young girls is leadership. It’s something that has been lacking in young girls and women for a long time, not because we don’t want to but because of what society has labeled women to be.”
She further added: “I think we are the most powerful being in the world and that we should be given every opportunity. That is what we should be teaching these young girls to take, to take up space. Nothing is more important than taking up space in society and cementing yourself.”
She is proud of her skin and colour
On winning this great title, she hasn’t missed the golden opportunity to talk about gender stereotypes.
She says,
“I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me, with my kind of skin and my kind of hair, was never considered to be beautiful. I think it is time that that stops today. I want children to look at me and see my face and I want them to see their faces reflected in mine.”
