Vijay’s Beast Box Office Collection saw a slowing down of collections worldwide. As weekdays were much lower after a big weekend with a big Crash coming on Monday.

However, Yash starrer ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ dominated the film from the second week. The film slowed down with negative reviews from another side.
However, the reception for Vijay’s film among the family audience made it have a successful theatrical run for 20 days. So the tickets sold out in several locations in its third week. ‘Beast’ has reportedly grossed over Rs 240 crores worldwide.
Also, the film is just a few away from being Vijay’s fifth 250 crores grosser after ‘Mersal’, ‘Sarkar’, ‘Bigil’, and ‘Master’. ‘Beast’ still holds over 250 screens in Tamil Nadu amidst some new releases and the ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ rampage.

Director Nelson Dilip Kumar directed it. Beast marks Vijay’s 65th film. It stars actor Pooja Hegde as the female lead. She made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with the Tamil superhero flick Mugamoodi. It Was directed by director Mysskin. Beast marks the comeback of Pooja Hegde to Tamil cinema after nine years. Sun Pictures bankrolled ‘Beast’.
The music composer was Anirudh Ravichander. Manoj Paramahamsa handled Whilst cinematography. And the editor was R. Nirmal. And also the designer was D. R. K. Kiran, respectively. Principal photography began in April 2022 and wrapped that December.
Beast Vs KGF2 at Box Office
The beast will clash at the box office with Yash’s long-awaited film KGF 2. The sequel to the hit film KGF is also headed for theatrical release on April 14. KGF 2 is helmed by director Prashanth Neel.

The production budget for Vijay’s ‘Beast’ is ₹150 crores. So, the film has so far collected ₹139.85 crores at the Indian box office. Also, 227.35 crores at the worldwide box office. According to reports, the opening day collection of ‘Beast’ did quite well, but due to the release of ‘KGF 2’ and receiving negative reviews from critics and the audience. But after day one, the ‘Beast’ crashed at the box office.
But still, compared to the budget, the ‘Beast’ performed well at the box office. However, overall the news portals considered ‘Beast’ as a Below-Hit film at the box office. Not only this, ‘Beast’ is currently the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2022, leaving behind ‘Valimai’.
