‘When Calls the Heart’, Hallmark has officially renewed the show. For an eleventh season even before the premiere of season 10. The network announced the update on Wednesday and also revealed the release date for the upcoming 10th season.
The series starring Erin Krakow is one of the highest-watched shows on basic cable. It is the longest-running scripted show on Hallmark. It follows the story of a young teacher who moves from her high-society life to a small coal-mining town for her first assignment.
When Calls the Heart’ Announces Season 10 Premiere Date, Season 11 Renewal
Hearties, here’s some good news for you: There are still a few months until When Calls the Heart Season 10 premieres on the Hallmark Channel (Sunday, July 30!). We already know it’s not going anywhere.
The long-running drama renewed for an 11th season, according to Deadline. Fans have 24 episodes to look forward to. Both upcoming seasons consist of 12 episodes. This early renewal is a very good sign for the series; they didn’t pick it up for Season 10 until about a month after the Season 9 finale (which aired on May 22, 2022).
When is Calls the Heart season 10 premiere date: Season 11 issue?
We know that Calls the Heart season 10 is coming to Hallmark Channel. It is down the road, and of course, there’s a lot to be excited about with that!
Unfortunately, we’re also well aware of the fact that we’re facing a pretty long wait to see it. The question comes down to how long that wait is going to be. All we know for sure is late July, and what makes this all the more interesting is that type. This is around when seasons of the Erin Krakow series tend to start production. Of course, before that many weeks are spent planning out the scripts and getting everything ready to go! There is a pretty long process that comes with setting up this show. So, That’s before cameras ever start rolling. What we’re trying to say here is pretty darn simple: Making this show is a process. Hallmark can’t just decide to greenlight a season 11 in July and start filming the next day.
For the time being, let’s just hope that the story proves to be worth the wait. It’s something that will make Hallmark want a season 11 before season 10 even starts! They will at least, after all, know the quality of the scripts and the overall story ahead of time.
