Yes, we should prepare to lose a few things in our lives, and instead of spending a great deal of time regretting or searching, here are a few tips to follow.

1. Car Keys

The most lost item in the home and office is the humble car keys. It has been calculated that we spend more time looking for car keys than any other item that we have misplaced in the office or home. It is thus vital to have a clear set of solutions for this and a way that you can actually shorten the time spent looking or totally avoid having to look for your keys at all.

You could paint them with glow-in-the-dark paint. This works a treat, but generally only if it is dark where you’ve placed or misplaced them. They will then glow in the dark or shine with the paint that you have selected, making them easier to find.

You can track the keys. You can now attach a bluetooth tracker to your keys and use this to alert you to exactly where you have left the keys.

A spare set of keys is a final solution or failing this, you will likely need a trusted and professional auto locksmith that will be able to visit and quickly and efficiently open the car and even provide you with a newly cut key.

2. Memory

We all get increasingly forgetful as we age. Yes, there are ageing diseases and illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s that will affect the elderly, but even young people often have trouble remembering everything that they should, such as birth dates, meeting times, and appointments. This is why an electronic calendar and diary are so important.

It’s the easiest way to set these dates in stone and set a reminder for you well in advance so that you simply can’t forget. There are also specific memory games that you can play and practice to ensure that you train and exercise the mind to keep your memory working and improving all the time.

3. Confidence

There are times when we all lose a bit of confidence. It may be in a situation where we are not really sure that we can do what is planned or expected of us or in new situations where we don’t feel as comfortable as we should be. The trick to regaining your confidence as soon as possible is to keep telling yourself how good you are at whatever it is you doubt yourself at.

Secondly, get straight back on the horse as soon as you fall off. When we lose a bit of confidence, it’s important to realize that it isn’t the way it will always be but that we will easily be able to regain this or build it again.

We all lose something at some point. The trick to a happy and fulfilled life, where you aren’t wasting too much time on regret and looking for what you’ve lost, is to follow the simple tips as suggested herein.
