The disturbing sight amazed some players more than it disturbed others. One player remarked: “You all know the above-overplayed line “it’s not a bug, it’s characteristic.” These random sprite mix-ups are one of my favorite parts of Pogo, so I suppose, in this case, it’s kinda accurate.
However, it has always been remarkable to spin a pause or join a battle and be dragged up short by terrifying, twisted versions of common Pokemon Go NPCs. Graphical glitches like these can frequently be resolved by closing and e-open the app.
