The long-awaited trailer for Kung Fu Panda 4 has landed, bringing the legendary Dragon Warrior face-to-face with a villain as slippery as a dim sum dumpling – a shape-shifting Chameleon voiced by the powerhouse Viola Davis! Jack Black returns as the lovable, noodle-slurping Po in this epic new chapter, directed by Mike Mitchell and co-directed by Stephanie Ma Stine.
From Meditation to Mayhem:
The trailer opens with Master Shifu dropping a bombshell on Po: it’s time to trade in his fists for meditation and become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. Hilarious hijinks ensue as Po attempts to embrace inner peace, his mind constantly drifting back to visions of juicy buns. But peace is short-lived when the Chameleon slithers onto the scene, vowing to “possess the Kung Fu of every master villain” and unleash kung-fu chaos. Po’s response? Assemble the “best crooks and criminals” to face this shape-shifting menace!
A-List Kung Fu Crew:
Joining Jack Black and Viola Davis in this martial arts adventure is Awkwafina as Zhen, a new character who teams up with Po. And don’t forget Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan as Han, the leader of the Den of Thieves, ready to lend a hand (or perhaps a kick) in the fight.
DreamWorks first teased Kung Fu Panda 4 in 2022, and now the wait is almost over! This kung-fu feast is set to hit theaters soon, with a voice cast that includes Hollywood heavyweights like Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, David Cross, and even Dustin Hoffman as the ever-wise Master Shifu.
