The Incfile Grants
Incfile is a business filling service. It is providing grants to support Businesses and Entrepreneurs. At present they are offering two types of grants:
– Fresh Start Business Grant
Both seasoned and fresh entrepreneurs can apply for the grant. It will provide $2,500 which the winner can use as startup expenses. Moreover, Incfile will also provide free formations services. However, there are certain eligibility criteria for this grant. In order to be eligible, the businesses and entrepreneurs have to be residents of the U.S. and also must have attained the age of 21. The application for this grant is open for two rounds, ending on September 30 and December 31.
– Young Entrepreneur Scholarship Grant
This grant by Incfile is mainly for student entrepreneurs. However, it will allocate a sum of $2,500 to a high school senior, undergraduate, graduate, or trade school student in the U.S. This grant too, has some eligibility criteria. In order to be eligible, the students must be a resident of the U.S. with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Moreover, the applicants must have an interest in starting a business.
At the time of applying the students are also required t submit a short video and a sample business plan. The deadlines are the same as that of the Fresh Start Business Grant.
Caress Dreams Fund
The Caress Dreams Fund has a specific target in sight. This fund is specifically designed to support women businesses and entrepreneurs of colour. The IFundWomen of Color platform runs this fund which records a $ 1 Million fund from Caress. This fund will be divided into grants of $5,000 each. Apart from the money, this funding program will also provide a business accelerator, coaching, creative services, and educational resources. This fund operates on multiple rounds every year.
NJ Small Business Fund
This funding initiative was launched initially in February by New Jersey Economic Development Authority. However, it is still offering grants up to $50,000 to businesses and entrepreneurs. Here too, there are some set eligibility criteria. In order to be eligible, businesses must be small businesses or minority or women-owned companies and have a physical address within New Jersey. The applications are still going on.
Nashville and Davidson County Small Business Grant And Loan Program
An $18 million grant and loan program for small businesses and entrepreneurs has recently been announced by Nashville and Davidson County. An eligible applicant must have a physical business address within Davidson County. Moreover, the business must not have more than 50 full-time employees and also must have annual revenue of between $10,000 and $1,000,000. The applications for this fund are open till 31 July.
San Antonio Small Business Grant Program
San Antonio has recently announced a new small business grant initiative. This initiative will be funded through the American Rescue Plan Act. Small businesses and entrepreneurs may apply for funds between $15,000 and $35,000. Detailed guidelines are yet to be published for this funding program.
