What year is it

What year is it may seem like a simple question? Many calendars in this world say a different year. There are calendars from which cultures and religions use that help them to make these conclusions. There are calendars other than Georgian calendars that have complicated history and numbers. Today, most countries in the world use the Georgian Calendar. Pope Gregory is the one who introduced this calendar in 1582. All this was important to the pope to make Easter occur on the date he desired.

The transformation from the Julian to Georgian Calendar is a historic change. However, many in that period did not want to adapt to this change. They thought that this was a part of a religious plot. Only after 175 years after this change, did people start to accept this calendar. Even though the Georgian calendar is widely used in our day several calendars exist even today. Let us see the other calendars that have a different answer to the question what year is it?
