Thanks to the designer who felt the pain of 9 to 5 jobbers. The Soul Seat has been designed by designer and founder, Pack Matthews. He was quite frustrated with how traditional chairs left him in pain and limited the number of sitting positions he could change while working at the computer for a long time.
According to their website, he also collaborated with a few friends and they came up with a unique design, it is even registered in the US Patent Office.

The chair helps correct your posture as sitting on its special design “tilts the pelvis forward, opens the hips, and lets the spine align to a comfortable, neutral position”.

Matthew, the founder, and designer has said that he loves doing yoga, so keeping all yogis in mind he has come up with the idea to design something like this for them. Being comfortable sitting on the floor is one of the fundamental ideas behind this chair that was purposely designed with no arms or back.

Malaysian peoples are getting mad over this chair, but this chair is not available in Malaysia right now. But they are happy to know about this invention as it meets their expectations.

Well, everyone can’t afford this as it comes with a hefty price tag. The chairs are currently being sold for USD875 (RM3, 610), and with the more luxurious wooden legs, they would cost USD1, 200 (RM4, 950).
