On Monday, CNN decided to terminate Don Lemon from his anchor designation at CNN. Upon CNN’s sudden decision of firing Don Lemon there are a lot of issues evolving in the media.
Based on Variety news, it is clear that the anchor mistreated female colleagues and that is why CNN fired him. Lemon also came up with his own comments on Twitter that he was actually informed by his agent about his termination.

Soon after listening to the news, Don Lemon post some tweets. He was on CNN for almost 17 years and hosted “CNN This Morning.” According to his post, there is no proper notice about his termination at his office. There is no trace of his termination so far in CNN while he was working there. He also felt bad about the management’s indecent way of telling him about termination.
But CNN refused all such accusations by Lemon and came up with tweets. According to such tweets, CNN already provided a chance for Lemon to meet management. Instead, Lemon refused the chance to meet the management and came up with such tweets.
CNN CEO, Chris Licht officially related that the Lemon and the CNN Network have parted ways now. It was entirely based on the memo submitted to NBC News. This shows that the network already issued a memo to Lemon about his termination.
Even the CEO tweets other statements like thanking Lemon for his 17 years of work at CNN. He also considers himself to be always part of the CNN family. Finally, he came up with his wishes and cheers for his bright future.

In 2006, Don Lemon started his career at CNN Network. Before CNN, he was working at NBC News as an anchor for NBC Chicago. Furthermore, Lemon was the correspondent on NBC shows such as

After joining the network, he became the anchor of the show “CNN This Morning.” There was a controversy when Don comments about Republican presidential candidate, Nikki Haley. Due to this, there happened some disputes between the network and Lemon. However, the network moved on this issue but the Variety report created controversies again.
According to the Variety report on April 5, there are a lot of questions regarding how Lemon behaves toward women. After getting reports from dozen of former and current women colleagues, Variety posted this comment. However, the spokesperson for the anchor denied all such accusations.
After CNN got some requests from NBC News regarding comments, CNN referred to those Variety Statements. According to the CNN network, there is a specific allegation against Lemon since 2008 but he denied all such allegations.
Though there are some allegations against Lemon, there is no proper statement from the network about his termination. But according to CNN, they already informed Lemon about his termination and even asked to discuss with management about this. However, Lemon denied meeting them and tweeted that the network didn’t inform him personally.
