Dorinda is returning for the latest season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy on Peacock. Alongside co-stars Sonja Morgan and Kristen Taekman, The Real Housewives of New York City alum sat down with The Daily Dish to share the latest updates on the trip, her love life, and the possibility of inviting some Bravolebs back to Bluestone Manor.
The former Real Housewives of New York City and Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip cast member gave fans a glimpse of her home’s interior through several posted photos on Instagram. The images featured the grand fireplace, an opulent peacock figurine, and the striking table decor. Reflecting on the cherished memories, Dorinda expressed her gratitude for the property her late husband acquired approximately 18 years ago.
Dorinda And Richard
Dorinda and Richard Medley exchanged vows on October 15, 2005, at the Brick Presbyterian Church in New York, followed by an extravagant reception at the Four Seasons. For her special day, Dorinda adorned herself in a Randi Rahm gown, as reported by New York Weddings. The celebration reportedly featured a 50s-themed ambience designed to resemble an aquarium.
In marrying Dorinda, Richard assumed the role of stepfather to her daughter Hannah, who is now 26. Hannah is Dorinda’s daughter from her previous marriage to Ralph Lynch. Richard and Hannah shared a close bond before his passing. In the aftermath of Richard’s death, Hannah temporarily paused her studies and returned home to support her mother during that challenging time.
Dorinda Pays Tribute
Richard tragically passed away on October 16, 2011, succumbing to liver failure at the age of 60. In 2021, marking the 10th anniversary of her husband’s untimely death, Dorinda paid a heartfelt tribute. Quoting her late spouse, she expressed, “‘Dorinda, You are My True North.’
Ten years ago, her husband, Richard H. Medley, her friend, and her partner passed away. She shared that she now looks to him as her ‘True North’ and believes he still protects, guides, and watches over her. She conveyed that she will always love him, expressing enduring love and gratitude.”
What Dorinda Medley Said About Her Husband?
Dorinda has consistently been open about discussing her late husband on reality television. Throughout her tenure on RHONY from 2015 until her departure in 2020, she frequently shared fond memories of Richard with her castmates. In the second season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, where seven other former Housewives gathered at Dorinda’s iconic Blue Stone Manor in the Berkshires, Massachusetts, she mentioned Richard. Dorinda even told some of the other women that she sensed Richard’s presence at the home.
Is Dorinda Dating Someone?
At present, Dorinda is not in a relationship. Nevertheless, she shared that she is actively putting herself out there and making an effort in her love life. She’s even contemplating joining dating apps — although it might not be the kind of app one would typically associate with Dorinda.
