The Rarible NFT art marketplace and ForeverLands NFT collection game have announced a partnership. In this partnership, Rarible will curate a part of the ForeverLands prize vault. Players who explore the lands in the ForeverLands game can win a piece of the vault. The vault contains works by well-known artists such as Damien Hirst, XCOPY, Amir Zand, Tycho, Ryan Koopmans, and others. Rarible will select them from the main treasury at the game’s end during a sports-style draught event. Hence, the game’s winners will get fractionalized NFTs, which will be in a smart contract.
ForeverLands aspires to be the first GameFI experience that allows more people to engage in blue-chip art collections and learn about NFT artists. Rarible joins a growing roster of ForeverLands partners who promote the crypto art ecosystem. Others include Flare Finance and Kolectiv.
Rarible NFT Art Marketplace
Rarible is an Ethereum-based platform that allows the use of NFTs to create, sell, and buy ownership rights to digital works of art. It uses two NFT token standards. First, ERC-721, which allows the creation of one-off, unique goods. Second, ERC-1155, which allows the creation of many editions of an item.
Despite the fact that Rarible’s NFT platform began as a centralised operation, its founders intend to decentralise it over time. Accordingly, they will hand the power over to a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) governed by the Rarible community. Rarible intends to do this through its RARI governance token, which grants users the ability to take part in the platform’s governance.
Rarible stated in 2021 that it would build a marketplace on Dapper Labs’ Flow blockchain. It will allow the hosting of applications and quicker transactions. After you’ve linked your wallet, you may shop for things on Rarible’s NFT marketplace. The platform will show you top sales and NFT art collections, and you may search for NFTs by genres such as photography, gaming, and memes. NFT sellers can choose whether to set a fixed sale price or hold an auction for their items.
You may also use Rarible to mint your own NFTs if you are an artist or creative. If you create NFTs, you are not compelled to sell them; instead, you can store them on the platform.
ForeverLands NFT collection game
ForeverLands is a collectable strategy game in which you play as an adventurer exploring new countries in search of buried wealth. There are a total of 65536 land NFTs available in the collection, as well as various surprises along the route. Obtaining land NFTs requires burning Explorer tokens. Rarity isn’t a hard and fast rule. The project will be in many parts and will last anywhere from 6 months to a year.
You’ll have to make decisions and take activities along the route that will affect the value of your tokens and your ability to take part in various incentives. Half of the proceeds from the sale will go towards buying world-class 1/1 crypto art created by the most well-known artists in the field.
Based on the resources within each Land NFT, the level of exploration, and other considerations, this crypto art will be fractionalized and then airdropped to Land NFT holders.
