Certainly, Robert W. Smith, who was from America and worked as a composer, passed away when he was 64 years old on September 21, 2023.

They did a program called “A Florida Suite,” which was the first time a drum corps did a completely original music program. He also wrote for Magic of Orlando for a while. 

Until 2007, he wrote music for the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps in Ohio. From 2011 to 2014, he arranged music for the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. In 2013, he started writing music for the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps.

In 2006, before the school year started, Troy University hired him to be the Coordinator of the Music Industry program. Then, in December 2006, he said he was going to be the Director of Product Development for the C. L. Barnhouse Company and would publish his music with them.
