This new plan promoted by Singapore Government is in effect immediately. The minimum sum of insurance decided with the recommendations of Ministry of Health (MOH) in mind. This organisation considered the costs incurred by Covid 19 patients in private hospitals to fix the suitable amount. Furthermore, the three insurance companies offering their services are AIG Asia Pacific Insurance, HL Assurance and Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited.
The companies AIG and HL Assurance have begun to sell their insurance plans however the Chubb will start offering its services from November 27. The foreign travellers have to travel through the safe Travel Lanes. After the tests, if they got infected by Coronavirus then they can purchase the travel insurance that will cover the costs of their medical treatments in Singapore.
GIA CEO Ho Kai Weng shared that the insurance companies understand the role played by them in making the travel safe and benefit the travellers. They are working along with the Government agencies and other sectors for months to assist Singapore become an innovative destination.

Six cases of Covid 19 got identified on Wednesday in Singapore and now there are totally 58,135 coronavirus infections. More than 58,033 people have got fully recovered from the virus and went home.
