WWE RAW: The tribal chief Roman Reigns makes his presence on RAW. The reigning defending and undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns confronts his WrestleMania opponent Cody Rhodes on RAW.
Earlier in the show Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn challenge Jay & Jimmy Uso for the tag team titles at WrestleMania 39. The Usos accept the challenge of Owens and Zayn. They later go onto meet Roman Reigns but the tribal chief sent them home in a private jet. The Tribal Chief was left with Solo Sikoa.
Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring alongside his special counsel Paul Heyman and his cousin Solo Sikoa. Before The Tribal Chief begins his promo about his Wrestle Mania 39 opponent “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.
Before Reigns could begin his speech he was interrupted by his opponent Cody Rhodes. He makes his way to the ring and confronts Roman Reigns.
Reigns welcomes Rhodes. Both men then start to thrash talk front & back. Reigns said Cody Rhodes couldn’t get over his stardust character and left the company. He further went on to say “Rhodes is a quitter”. You quit and left the company and was part of a rival promotion (AEW). You failed to become the top star there, then you comeback here as a much better star with a aim to win the title.
Reigns further went on to say remember these ” On April 3rd when you wake up you will be without the title. I am going to beat the hell out of you and cement my legacy.
Rhodes in reply to Reign’s thrash talking said, ” Yeah you are right MR. Reigns. I was born in this industry but I struggled to be the star. I failed to prove my existence and I left the company i learnt how to become the star and a true wrestler and now I am back to prove my existence.
Rhodes further said ” I am gonna beat you at WrestleMania 39 and achieve my dreams. Remember first Jay will betray you then Jimmy and later Solo. When you wake up on April 3rd you will be the tribal chief without a tribe.
Roman Reigns doesn’t respond and silently leaves the ring. Solo Sikoa then tries to attack Rhodes with the Samoan Spike. ” The American Nightmare” escapes and hits him with a kick. Reigns then stops Solo Sikoa from attacking Cody Rhodes and retreats from the ring.
