Things to know regarding Bathroom cleaning grout

1. Invest In Daily Cleaning Routine

Create a daily schedule for cleaning and spraying the grout. This should be done after taking bath. Daily cleaning will make the tiles glitter, eliminate the buildup of dirt, and minimize staining. Use a squeegee to clean your grout. Run it on the grout after taking a shower. It will help you get rid of excess water. A vinegar solution can perfectly work when cleaning the grout. In the long run, daily cleaning will make your work easier when it comes to scrubbing.

2. Deep Clean It Weekly

Bathroom Deep Clean

Besides daily cleaning, you will also require a weekly deep cleaning schedule. This should be done after every 7 days. Remember, body oils can cling to the walls and surfaces. Also, soap scum can make the tiles stain. Thus, a weekly cleaning will help make your grout free from these oils. A soda paste, when rubbed on the grout, can perfectly work. Be sure to use clean water and a toothbrush when applying the soda paste.

However, if you think that your grout is more stained, consider using hydrogen peroxide in place of water. Hydrogen peroxide can remove stains from the grout.

3. Deal With Extremely Stained Grout

Lack of attention can lead to extremely stained tiles and grouts. In these cases, a mere baking soda cannot clean the stains. These are extreme cases. You will need to bleach. This is the only way of removing these stains.

Look for a good bleach pen. Ideal for smaller surfaces, a bleach pen won’t affect the tiles. It will only bleach the grout, leaving the tiles untouched. You can also use this tool when doing your weekly cleaning. However, minimize any contact with your tiles. It can bleach them, leaving them in a bad shape.

4. Permanent Stains Will Require Grout Renewal

If all the above options fail to work, consider changing the clout. Known as clout renewal, this option will add that extra layer as well as color to your grout. Use products that can add that extra protection to your grout. This protection will minimize future stains and make your grout last longer.

5. Call An Expert

Grout protection can be demanding. This is especially true if you are considering changing the entire grout. You shouldn’t suffer. The best thing to do is to hire an expert. A professional grout removal is cost-effective, efficient, and highly dependable. It will leave your tiles glittering. Check tile and grout repair and cleaning services and let your home shine.

The Bottom-Line
