Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson enjoyed an unforgettable ski holiday in Switzerland! During a recent trip to Gstaad, the actress and the Gossip Girl actor got engaged. Westwick proposed Jackson at the picturesque hanging mountain bridge in Switzerland, the Peak Walk by Tissot.
The pair announced their excellent news together on Instagram on Monday morning. In the description of her Instagram Story, Jackson, 31, wrote, “Hell YES,” and Westwick, 36, wrote, “I hit the jackpot xxx.”
A collection of images captured the couple on their significant occasion. Westwick dropped on one knee on the footbridge that dangles 3,000 meters between the View Point in Les Diablerets and Scex Rouge in Gstaad. And Jackson seemed taken aback by his suggestion; she covered her mouth with her hands.

After the dreamy photographs were released, her friends and admirers lavished her with love in the comments area. Kiara Advani added red heart emojis to the pictures while Athiya Shetty said, “Congratulations.” Orry also commented, “Biggest congratulations, angel!!!” in the comment area.
For the occasion, the couple was dressed in ski gear. He kept it grounded with earth tones of brown and green while she donned an all-white suit. Though she couldn’t see the precise cut of the diamond Westwick bought, the actress was sure to flaunt her brilliant diamond ring.
When did Amy Jackson First Meet Ed Westwick?
She learned Westwick in 2021 when they were both at an Aston Martin event at Silverstone Racecourse. He invited her for a double coffee date with their dogs, Herbert, his Frenchie, and Herbert, her poodle.
In August 2023, she told Lifestyle Asia, “He knew how to win me over from the get-go…coffee and dogs.”
In June 2022, the couple announced their romance on Instagram, and they have been sharing their love with sincere messages and real-life photos. They made their red carpet-debut at the National Film Awards in July of that year.

In June, Jackson sent a birthday greeting to Westwick, saying, “Happy Birthday to the love of my lifeeeee. I thank God for you every day. You’re home and an adventure of a lifetime, all mixed into one.”

At 15, Jackson, born in Douglas on the Isle of Man, started her modeling career in the UK. After two years, 2009 was her year of victory as Miss Teen World. Jackson shares her 4-year-old kid, Andreas Panayiotou, with George Panayiotou, her ex-partner.
She made her acting debut in 2010 when she accepted an offer from Indian film producers to play the lead in the historical drama Madrasapattinam. Since then, she has had a successful acting career in Bollywood, appearing in about 20 movies, including the well-known ones Singh Is Bliing (2015) and 2.0 (2018), which became the most costly movie in India at the time of its release.
In 2017, Jackson debuted as Imra Ardeen, a.k.a. Saturn Girl, on The CW’s Supergirl. Naturally, Westwick became well-known on The CW for his breakthrough performance as Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl. From 2007 to 2012, the British celebrity starred in the series.
