Anna Cardwell passed away at the age of 29. She was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in January. The cancer became terminal in July. She was the oldest daughter of reality TV star June Shannon (aka Mama June) died on Saturday. She was 29 years old.
Shannon confirmed the news of her daughter’s death on Instagram. She wrote a message on Sunday, “With the breaking heart, we are announcing that [Anna] is no longer with us.” The TV star further added, “She passed away in my home last night peacefully at 11:12 PM.”
Earlier in May this year, she said that Cardwell was suffering from stage 4 cancer. She had received an adrenal carcinoma diagnosis in January 2023. Shannon posted on Instagram a day before. She asked for prayers as “some things have changed in our life over the last few weeks that are totally out of our control.”
June was completely shattered by the death of her oldest daughter. She wrote about the fight Cardwell has gone through in the last 10 months. The entire span of the Carcinoma was put up on her Instagram. Shannon kept her fans connected with the changes that took place in her life. She kept asking for prayer.
Cardwell was a mother of two kids. Shannon had posted about the condition of the two children after they lost their mother. She prayed for the children who are now motherless.
Cardwell appeared on TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. It ran from 2012 to 2014. The spinoff series followed Shannon’s family. It was after she and her daughter Alana Thompson rose to prominence in Toddlers & Tiaras. It was cancelled amid reports that Shannon was dating a convicted child molester. Cardwell is no longer with us now. The news has left the fans shattered.
