Apple has recently announced the upcoming launch of a new music app. They devoted it exclusively to classical music called Apple Music Classical. This app is the result of Apple’s addition of the classical music streaming service, Primephonic, in 2021.
Originally slated for release in late 2022. The company launched The app for the delay but is now scheduled for March 28.
Subscribers to Apple Music or Apple One will have access to the world’s largest classical music library through the new app. Users can pre-order the app on their iPhones via the App Store and will be notified when it becomes available.
How to Pre-Order and Download Apple Music Classical

The company set the app to launch worldwide on March 28. You can pre-order the app by heading to Apple’s App Store. The company says that once the pre-order is complete.
The app will be downloaded automatically on your phone once it officially launches. The Auto-update feature needs to turn on in the settings to download the app automatically.
Alternatively, you can visit the App Store on March 28 and download the app manually. Currently, the app is only available on iOS, so it would not work on Mac, iPad, or Android. It will function on iPhones running iOS 15.4 or later.
As per reports, the company will launch the app for different platforms in the upcoming months. You need to have an active Apple Music subscription to use the app. Users who have already subscribed would not need a separate subscription to Apple Music Classical.

More than a year since Apple acquired the classical music streaming service Primephonic. The company set their own Apple Music Classical app to finally launch on March 28, 2023. But despite Apple missing its target release date by nearly three months.

Which signalled a release was imminent. The company publicly listed the app on the App Store on March 9. So the app’s page provides an expected release date of March 28.
On that same day, Apple sent push notifications to current Apple Music subscribers. More importantly, it confirmed that anyone can access Apple Music Classical with a current Apple Music subscription. There is no additional fee or plan.
