Bob Saget’s former Los Angeles home has sold for $5.4 million. Fox Business confirmed the Saget Family Trust sold the house. Saget originally purchased the property in 2003 for $2.895 million.
According to Compass, the 6,608-square-foot house features six bedrooms. Also, it includes a guest house and seven bathrooms.
Bob Saget former L.A. Home Sells For $5.4 Million
Therefore, Bob Saget’s former L.A. home has finally found a buyer … just one year after the comedian’s unexpected death.
The late comedian’s 6-bed, 7-bath house sold off-market last week for $5.4 million. So, his family listed the place originally for $7.7M last June but dropped down to $6.9M 3 months later.
Moreover, he bought the beautiful home back in 2003 for $2.8 mil, and it comes with a ton of space — and has sweet amenities like a spa, BBQ area, walk-in closet, and a big motor court out front. It’s even got its own guest house, too.
Of course, the house hit the market months after Bob’s death, which just reached the first-anniversary last month on January 9 … when he died in Orlando, after accidentally hitting his head and suffering a brain bleed.
Bob’s wife Kelly saw the property as “too much of a burden,” deciding to unload it despite all the fond memories they shared there.
She posted a photo last month at a get-together to honour Bob with other “Full House” cast members.
How did Bob Saget die?
Bob Saget, the stand-up comedian and actor known for playing Danny Tanner on “Full House,” died of head trauma after he accidentally hit something, his family said in a statement on Wednesday.
Mr Saget, 65, was found unresponsive on Jan. 9 in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lake. Also, he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said that after they found Mr Saget there were no signs of foul play.
The sheriff’s office referred the comment to the medical examiner’s office, which said that Mr Saget’s death was an accident. Mr Saget died from blunt force trauma that most likely resulted from a fall, Dr Joshua Stephany, the chief medical examiner of Orange and Osceola counties, said in a statement on Thursday.
Kelly Rizzo honoured her husband Bob Saget on his 1st death anniversary
The sale of the Los Angeles mansion comes a few weeks after Rizzo marked the first anniversary of Saget’s death. At that time, she shared a beautiful video on the social media platform Instagram.
Kelly started by writing, “One Year. Our hearts are so heavy. How could I not have talked to or seen my loving husband in a whole year? The surreal-ness never subsides. I accepted the reality long ago but it still seems unreal when I see photos or videos of him so full of life.”
Rizzo further added, “But there is one thing I carry with me every single day that makes this survivable. I AM THE LUCKIEST. I am the luckiest that I got to be his wife. Also, I am the luckiest that I got to watch him first-hand, make them happy, and make the world a better place.”
