Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys made it to win the Thursday Night Football game. The team has successfully overcome the dreadful performance of the defence. While the defence delivered when it mattered, the Cowboys wouldn’t come close to winning this game if not for Dak Prescott. They admittedly came up with big stops late to defeat the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football.
Fans in Dallas have been beating the Prescott MVP agenda for weeks now. He has been the best quarterback in the NFL for more than half the season. It may be the full season, Week 5 loss vs the 49ers notwithstanding — and delivered another MVP-level performance on Thursday.
For the fifth straight game, Prescott was masterful. He finished 29 of 42 for 299 yards and three touchdowns. He would have thrown for five touchdowns. But the drops by Tony Pollard and CeeDee Lamb in the second half kept him short of it.
No one is playing the quarterback position better than Prescott right now. It’s been that way for two months. The recent stats have not been accounted for. But he now leads the league in touchdown passes and is second in QBR. He kept the Cowboys alive in the NFC East race with a mammoth rematch against the Eagles next week in Dallas.
The player has made all his teammates proud by making the legendary win over the defence. The fans are excited and looking forward to the next match. Aaron Rodgers praised Cowboys QB Dak Prescott. He said,
“I love the way he’s playing, like really playing.”
Rodgers talks not just like making good throws, but it seems rare when the guys are playing the position and making adjustments. Regardless of the outcome of that game, Prescott stamped his case as the MVP favourite on Thursday.
