Mass resignation is the result of Elon’s ultimatum asking Twitter staff to commit to a “hardcore” work environment or “accept a buyout”. Therefore, fans are anxious that Twitter is shutting down forever.
In retaliation to so many employees putting down their papers, Elon suddenly shut down Twitter offices on Thursday, that is November 17th. The company officials have informed the existing staff that all the buildings are being temporarily closed. In fact, their ability to re-enter with ID access is under suspension for the time being. You can expect the offices to reopen on Monday. Thus, the mass resignation has generated concerns about Twitter’s future. In fact, #RIPTwitter relentlessly floods social media.

Indeed, they are emphasizing on the fact that the platform might shut down very soon.

Shortly afterwards, Jimmy Fallon’s fake death news began to circulate on Twitter. Thus, Elon’s vague policies and insensible decisions have certainly attacked the credibility of the site. We mourn the present scenario. We feel nostalgic when we recollect the time when Twitter stood a class apart for being “informative”. It shone bright as a platform for “free speech”.
