The Virgin Hyperloop in Dubai had a new milestone as it welcomed first human passengers. They successfully travelled in the Hyperloop that will get a place in history. Dubai has invested a lot of money and time to build the marvellous Hyperloop technology and now it has reaped the benefits.
The Chairman of Virgin Hyperloop and CEO of DP World Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem watched the testing from Las Vegas, Nevada. He said that he has the true pleasure of seeing history. He is very happy to witness the passengers travelling in the Hyperloop. It is a new mode of transport in a hundred years. He also shared that they are one step closer to the new era of ultra-fast travelling transportation. Moreover, it is also the sustainable mode of transport for people and goods.
The DP World and Dubai are now at the forefront of innovation in technology in the area of transport and logistics. Co-Founder Josh Giegel and Director of Passenger Experience Sara Luchian got the opportunity to travel first in the Hyperloop. The testing happened at the 500-meter test site located at Las Vegas, Nevada. The company has done more than 400 unoccupied tests in the place before.
Giegel shared that they started the project in the garage six years ago. Their mission was to create something that will transform the way people will move. Now they have taken a giant leap by creating the Hyperloop. They have achieved their dreams and also the dreams of many people.

The first voyage in the Hyperloop
The passengers had their first journey in the new Hyperloop known as XP-2 vehicle. The designer of the vehicle is the Bjarke Ingels Group. It got custom-built with the safety of the occupants in mind and also their comfort. The original design of the vehicle can seat up to twenty-eight passengers. But the 2-seater XP-2 vehicle got created for demonstration. The beginning stages of the testing managed by Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) Certifier. They have revealed to the world that travelling in the vehicle is safe and comfortable.
