You are not your limitation, you’re what you decide to do with it. Baylen Dupree suffers from Tourette’s syndrome and she’s working to destigmatize it through social media. Instead of trying to hide her disorder she’s documenting her life, educating people on what its like to… pic.twitter.com/ebmSa90A1H

During Tuesday’s interview, she cursed Cuomo, saying, “F–k off, f–k off, f–k off … F–k you, Chris”. The interview quickly went viral. People started noting the laughter. Fans are both supporting and criticizing Cuomo for it. Cuomo laughed several times during the quick interview as Dupree spoke in profanity.
There were many moments he had to hide his laughter. It happened as Dupree spoke of serious issues, including threats and comments she had received from those watching her videos. “She says some pretty ugly stuff unintentionally,” Cuomo said.
Now, he is calling out media coverage over his viral interview with TikTok star Baylen Dupree. Cuomo spoke with Dupree, who often documents her life with Tourette syndrome on social media platforms, for NewsNation this week.
Baylen Dupree by popular demand. This is about respecting and laughing with, not at people…tics from Tourette do not define someone…i love that she is popular and proving that she can do it all! Great things to come! #TikTok https://t.co/p5FGajH68w

On Thursday afternoon, Dupree blurted out,
“Go f**k yourself, Chris! Baby Weiner. Banana up your ass, butter your biscuit, fat ass.”
In another video, he addressed the negative attention surrounding their interview, including one headline that he said insinuated he was being “mean” and was “laughing at her.”

He justifies himself,
“And I’m laughing because I get what it’s about. And that’s why I don’t care. It’s not curse words to be mean, and the difference matters.”
He supports Dupree and takes the stand for her. He calls it between them, and the media intentionally spreads that he was negatively flipped off.
