The former co-hosts meet again after 6years at a friend’s wedding. The former co-hosts arrived at the weekend event, which celebrated a ‘Today’ producer’s nuptials, with their significant others. He was fired from the morning news show for “inappropriate sexual behaviour in the workplace.”
The ex-NBC employee attended the wedding of Today Show Special Projects producer Jennifer Long. She exchanged vows with the CEO of Expert Home Buyer, Reid Sterrett. The event was at the Union League Club in New York City. Lauer met up with his previous workmates here.
Matt was seen holding hands with his wedding date, girlfriend Shamin Abas. He was wearing a suit and tie. They were walking outside the location and shared smiles with nearby cameras. Savannah Guthrie brought along her husband, Mike Feldman. She wore a long black velvet dress with a white bow at the top and black heels.
He kept introducing everyone to his girlfriend. As the couple moved around meeting the other guests the former host met Guthrie. This was a reunion six years after he was fired. He was fired from the morning news show for “inappropriate sexual behaviour in the workplace.”
It’s unclear whether Matt and Savannah talked face-to-face at the wedding. Their relationship was reportedly rocky after the former was let go from Today.
