If you are using a VPN the VPN client’s security features may be the reason behind the error message. It can work as a kill switch that can disconnect the internet if the VPN server goes down. To know if it is the problem, try disabling the VPN. You can also exit from it. Then reconnect to the internet and use a regularly updated website. You can also try using a new site.

At last, if everything connects the problem is with the VPN server. You can try updating the VPN client to connect with a new VPN server. If everything is good then the error is solved.

Try refreshing the windows 10 IP configuration

Some commands are available in windows to solve the windows 10 IP configuration. Right-click Start and select Windows PowerShell. Now enter the commands-

IPv6 is a networking protocol created to replace IPv4 as it runs out of IP addresses. But even when IPv6 runs on most hardware it can also result in errors. Check the IPv6 by unchecking the internet protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6). You have to click OK to confirm the choice. Then restart the Windows 10 PC after getting the prompt.

  • Go to the settings screen and click the Wi-Fi connection icon and the Network & Internet Settings.
  • Click the Change adaptor options and right-click on the connection. Then click the properties.
  • Go to Use the following DNS server addresses and input.
