Release Information for Baldur’s Gate 3 is Now Available
The game will be launched on August 31, 2023, according to the trailer. We also got a notification that the PS5 version of the game would arrive on the same day as the PC version. Although there hasn’t been any confirmation on an Xbox release yet, it’s improbable that the game will be a PlayStation-only release.
In the PlayStation trailer for Baldur’s Gate, multiple console-friendly features were also featured. The game supports split-screen co-op, enabling couch co-op/local multiplayer for up to two players, as the trailer displayed. Like Pc gamers, PlayStation users can play online with up to three other players.
In addition, the clip indicated that controller support would be made available to all players since it was not yet included in the Steam early access. The game will have complete controller compatibility when it releases, and the trailer has provided a small glimpse of what that might look like in August 2023.
The teaser also provides a first glimpse at one of the story’s rivals, General Ketheric Thorm, who is shown as a necromancer who threatens the city of Baldur’s Gate. American actor J.K Simmons, who has experienced roles in Whiplash and Spiderman, will voice the character.

A new dice skin and additional accessories styled after Divinity 2 and other things will be available to players who purchase the Deluxe version. When the game is released, all players who have paid early access on Steam will also have their copies updated to the Deluxe version.
Along with obtaining all of the Deluxe edition’s features, the Collector’s Edition will include material goods like art books and maps.
