Hackers accessed Jamie Campbell Bower’s Twitter account
On Sunday, the “Stranger Things” star disclosed that his Twitter had been hacked via his Instagram stories. ‘Please don’t give the hacker any information,’ he begged near the end of his account.
According to other reports, the hacker issued direct message requests to the actor’s Twitter followers in an attempt to solicit financial assistance. Bower later issued another statement, assuring his followers that he was working to reclaim control of the account and will offer an update as soon as possible.
I’ll let you know when I regain access to my @twitter account. At the present, it is primarily in the hands of the hacker. He greeted everyone with a “great Sunday” with a heart emoji, a cheerful face, and folded hands.
One fan expressed their sadness at the prospect of Jamie discovering that “some loser” had exploited his Twitter account to swindle money from his followers. In retrospect, Jamie would almost certainly confess blame for an act that was all his fault.”

Hackers are not the first issue Bower has had to deal with. The actor chose to discontinue the use of the service after becoming dissatisfied with the upgrade. “Twitter Goodbye Bye Bye,” a sorrowful farewell to Twitter said. “Good morning, young people.”
Since then, I’ve decided to discontinue the use of the account. I understand that these individuals do not represent all of you beautiful people, but it only takes a minority to screw things up and destroy everything for everyone.”
“I had to make such a difficult decision with a sorrowful heart,” he said of leaving Twitter. The kicker is that “I have no obligation to share my existence with the outside world,” but “I wanted everyone who has supported me to feel included, invited or a part of my strange lifestyle.”
