Going into 2023, much was unknown about Team Heretics. Evi was the first Japanese player ever to reach the LEC, Jackspectra was a top-tier ERL ADC who had yet to receive his big break, and Ruby had ordinary success while playing in several locations. Jankos has reached the top statistically in his greatest split ever, despite Team Heretics being quite low in the LEC rankings.
One of the most important and well-known players in Lethe ague of Legends’ career is Marcin ‘Jankos’ Jankoswski. Before joining Team Heretics, Mersa was regarded as a strong support player but still needs to describe roles properly. In 2019, he was a member of the G2 team that won the MSI and has been competing for more than ten years. His trophy collection is almost as full as his list of all-pro candidates.
According to most metrics, Jankos is the best jungler in the LEC Spring Split and has maintained his statistical edge over all other players. Nonetheless, this achievement was made possible by other sources other than Team Heretics.
Despite playing for a terrible squad, Jankos leads the LEC in ratings:
G2 is a company that constantly dominates its area and has domestic achievements in first place in Europe. As a juggler with a huge amount of expertise in the position and good mechanics, Jankos was a key member of G2 for years and helped them during several of their best performances.
Many people questioned whether he’d be able to maintain his level of performance if he weren’t matched with an all-time great mid-laner like Caps since he was part of a winning team.
He continues to possess it, despite Team Heretics’ usually bad performance, as evidenced by the Winter and Spring splits. The potential success of this roster has now become a subject of discussion among fans.
Jankos has the biggest gold margin, the most first-blood contribution, the most kills per game, the most harm, the most injury per minute, the most solo kills, and the greatest number of kills of any LEC jungle, still holding top farming stats. Compared to Team Heretics’ final standings, this is one of the statistically best splits in his career. He is the type of player you’d find on a top-three team.
Nevertheless, there has been a mixture of support for Jankos and doubt about Team Heretics’ present membership. Despite having such a potent jungle presence, many fans are surprised about the reason that Team Heretics is having such a difficult time.
With a 2-4 record as of this writing, they still have opportunities to turn around and have a successful championship season. Still, if they keep playing terribly, supporters are starting to wonder whether there will be any roster replacements. We should expect this squad only to knock off a major miracle run if the Winter results are any indication. Jankos, however, will be allowed; that much is certain.
