Jason David Frank passed away at the very early age of 49. The news has come down as a shock upon the fans. He is most prominent for his role as the green Power Ranger. Indeed, the actor’s representative confirmed the shocking news. However, he did not divulge the reason behind his death. Multiple sources are now stating that Frank died by suicide in Texas. The actor ascended to fame with his portrayal of Tommy Oliver in the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers franchise, which continued from 1993 to 1995.
Frank’s representative appealed to the world to respect the privacy of his family and friends during this dark time. Frank came into the world on September 4, 1973. The place of his birth is Covina, California. In 1993 he got the opportunity to perform the character of Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger in the Power Rangers franchise. Initially, Frank was meant to appear in only 14 episodes of the show. However, he rose to such popularity with his fecund and appealing performance, that the team had to bring him back into the franchise. He returned as the White Ranger, the new leader of the team.

Jason David Frank became a true favourite of the fans after his stint in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
