Twitch personality Kai Cenat found himself in the hospital following a “severe” injury sustained while shooting a music video for his YouTube group ‘AMP.’ As a prominent figure in the streaming world, the 21-year-old shared updates from his hospital bed after taking a hit to the face during a hockey scene for the video shoot.
Kai has soared to online fame with over 8 million Twitch followers and record-breaking subscriptions. Transitioning into films like Good Burger 2, his recent project led to a major injury, placing him in the hospital and raising concerns among fans.
On December 4, the official ‘Kai Mafia Updates’ Twitter/X reported that Cenat had allegedly suffered a “severe” injury during the filming of a music video for his YouTube group ‘AMP.’ The announcement conveyed that Kai Cenat wouldn’t be streaming at 8 PM, confirming he had sustained severe injuries during an AMP shoot, leading to his hospitalization. In a series of responses to the post, Kai Cenat seemed to validate the news, expressing his enthusiasm for the GTA 6 trailer that had been released on the same day.
Later on, Kai was released from the hospital and went live that night, clarifying the events for his perplexed fans during the broadcast. He recalled that they engaged in hockey during the AMP session. He explained there was a segment where physicality was involved, and someone, without naming them, pushed him, causing him to fall directly onto his face.
Continuing, he revealed that his two bunny teeth, or Squidward-like front teeth, pinched his lip. He described getting up from the floor and seeing blood, mentioning that a portion of his lip was missing.
Cenat stands as one of the prominent streamers, credited with popularizing the 2023 word of the year, “rizz. He played a significant role in bringing it to the forefront of social media by sharing a video in 2022 that offered advice on possessing “rizz,” a term denoting charisma and the ability to engage with potential partners.
