In FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, Team of the Season will shortly return. Let’s review what we know regarding the major end-of-season promo. Many promotions have been added to FIFA Super Team over the years by EA SPORTS. Others have only been used once before being put on the shelf, while some have lasted for many years.
Since that domestic seasons are winding down across Europe, it won’t be long until Team of the Season begins to take priority. There are, however, two that you should keep an eye on: Squad of the Year and Squad of the Season. While TOTS provides each major league in the world its turn in the spotlight, the former honors the top players.
Is There A Launch Date for FIFA 23 TOTS?
Team of the Season generally begins just as league champions are announced, hence the name, hence the promotion typically begins between April and May. In FIFA 22 from the previous year, the first squad release occurred on April 29. The promo for FIFA 23 has yet to be officially scheduled for release, though.
According to Insider Gaming, TOTS will be published on April 18, to be exact, in the middle of the month. But given that the season typically begins on a Friday, that is a Tuesday, which seems odd for Team of the Season. Tuesday announcements are normally reserved for the TOTS promo’s more compact portions, including unveiling fresh SBCs and smaller squads. We’ll just need to keep an eye out, then.
When will The FIFA 23 TOTS be Released?
Players have the opportunity to vote for players who have been dependable throughout the season without acquiring one or two upgrades. EA has traditionally started Team of the Season with their social squad in recent years.
This year, we anticipate remaining the case until leagues like the Champions League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, Eredivisie, and MLS are made public. Of course, given that TOTS covers every league out there, we’ll likely get a few others as well.
FIFA 23 TOTS will Contain What?
As previously said, the squad releases will most likely be split between alternate Friday and Tuesday releases. Teams that are announced on a Tuesday will have eleven players, and maybe even fewer, than those announced on a Friday, which will have 18 players. More packs, SBCs, objectives, and perhaps even Season Progress rewards will be released in addition to these first releases.
Ending Up
That concludes our current knowledge and expectations for the promotion of FIFA 23’s Team of the Season. We’ll update this story as soon as we have additional information and EA confirms it. So be sure to check back for updates.
