We’ve updated our list of the highest-paid CS: GO professional players with the completion of another CS: GO Major. Danish players continue to dominate the top ranks in terms of revenue, although other players are catching up to them and threatening to overtake them.
The Astralis players Andreas ‘Xyp9x’ Hjsleth, Peter ‘dupreeh’ Rasmussen, and Nicolai ‘dev1ce’ Reedtz were the first CS: GO players to win more than $1 million in prize money. Since then, an infinite number of players have joined the millionaires’ club, which now has up to 23 members.
As Dupreeh and Magisk work to establish a new dynasty with Vitality, Astralis relinquishes control over every tournament and their superior lineup. The list of the game’s highest-paid players, four of those five players continue to hold the majority of the positions.
In Total, 23 Players Have Earned at Least $1 Million
There are currently 23 players in the millionaires’ club. However, Astralis was the first to surpass the $1 million mark. This consists of four members of NAVI as well as the backbone of the former SK-Luminosity team. Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy, 19, has been a full-fledged NAVI player for over a year, and during the IEM Rio Major, he crossed the $1 million milestone.

Following NAVI’s performance in the ESL Pro League 15 quarterfinals, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev overtook Emil “Magisk” Reif to enter the top five in the rankings.
Dupreeh’s victory in Malta’s ESL Pro League 16 in October 2022 allowed him to become the first CS: GO player to surpass $2 million in tournament winnings. Dan “apEX” Madesclaire joined the CS: GO millionaires club at that same event, being the 20th player to do so.
Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy of NAVI, Nikola “NiKo” Kova of G2 Esports, and Nick “nitr0” Cannella of Team Liquid was the three new players to surpass $1 million in lifetime earnings in the last weeks of 2022.
G2’s triumphs at the BLAST Premier World Final and IEM Katowice 2023 caused NiKo to skyrocket. Less than $30,000 separates him from the top 10 and his current overall ranking of 12.
