Mark Ballas and his wife, BC Jean, welcomed their firstborn a month after they released a song about their previous pregnancy loss. The baby boy was named Banski Wylde Ballas. Ballas announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday. The Ballas couple wishes the baby as he completes a month on the Earth.
The Instagram post read,
“Welcome to Earth, my son.”
He posted a picture of both the mother and father holding the baby’s hand. The baby’s name and the date as November 5 were mentioned therein. In the image, he held Jean’s hand, while Banksi’s hand gripped Jean’s thumb. Jean shared the same image.
“Banksi Wylde Ballas. Joined us earthside 11•5•23,”
she captioned her post.
“Happy one month sweet boy. You are so loved.”
The spouses shared the news of their growing family on Instagram in June. They captioned a reel that showed recent adventures from beach days to a Disneyland trip, ending with their biggest project to date. The video was a hint towards their growing family with the anticipated arrival of their firstborn.
The couple met each other at a singer-songwriter night at a friend’s house. It was a fun party where the two clicked for the first time and exchanged numbers. They started dating in 2012. The couple later announced their engagement in January 2016 and tied the knot that November. Ballas and Jean’s single “Rainbow,” the couple, who perform as Alexander Jean, reflected on a pregnancy loss they experienced in 2022.
The lyric video included photos of Jean, 36, wearing an oversized coat and showing off her baby bump. The video was captioned We lost a baby last year. The Ballas couple has now been blessed with a baby boy after their pregnancy loss a year ago.
