Femina Miss India 2020 is the fifty-seventh edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant conducted every year. Manasa Varanasi (Femina Miss India World 2020)
Manasa Varanasi is the twenty-three-year-old Indian Model and software engineer who became the winner of Femina Miss India 2020. Manasa grew up in Hyderabad and studied at Vasavi College of Engineering. Currently, she works as an analyst at a financial company. She likes yoga, books, music and more. Moreover, she is good at dance forms like Bharatanatyam and Sangeetam.
In the year 2019, she took part in the Femina Miss India Telangana 2019 contest where she was one of the top three finalists. Then in 2020, she competed for the same title in Femina Miss India Telangana 2020 and she won the contest. After that, she represented the state of Telangana in the Femina Miss India 2020 pageant. In 2020 she got crowned as Femina Miss India World 2020 by Suman Rao the titleholder at Hyatt Regency, Mumbai. In the sub contest of the ceremony, she won the ‘Miss Rampwalk’ award. Manasa is going to represent India at the Miss World pageant which will get held in 2021.
Manika Sheokand (Femina Miss Grand India 2020)
Manika is an Indian model who became an overnight success after she got crowned the Femina Miss Grand India. She is twenty-five years old and comes from Chandigarh, India. In her Instagram post, she revealed that many people pitied her parents after they gave birth to a second girl child. She shared how the age-old misogynist culture can make girls feel unwanted. But she knows that she is an asset, not a liability. In her school, she was the national level netball player.
Manika had a full-time profession at a company in Gujarat however she left it to pursue a career in modelling. In 2019 she became the showstopper of Gurugram International Couture Week. After that, she walked the ramp for several designers. Her inspiration is Priyanka Chopra because of her strong personality. The bold quality of the actress helped Manika to break the ceilings and stereotypes. Apart from modelling, she loves to read books, watching movies and playing the Ukulele. She is going to represent India at Miss Grand International 2020.
Manya Singh (Femina Miss India 2020 Runner-up)
Manya Singh is a nineteen-year-old girl from Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. She went to S.M Lohia High School, Maharashtra. After becoming the runner-up she revealed that she is the daughter of an auto-driver. Her mother works at a parlour. As she has come from a middle-class background her life was hard. But now she has become an inspiration to many people.
At the age of fourteen, she ran away from her home and started to work at pizza hut. She earned money from her job and continued her studies. Then she also worked at a call centre to pay for her college fees. In her Instagram post, she shared her life story. She has spent many of her early days without food and sleep. Then she started to work as a model and took part in many shows. In 2020 she won the Miss India Uttar Pradesh Title. Then she got declared the first runner up in the Femina Miss India 2020. During her free time, she likes to take care of her pets, read books, travel and dance. Moreover, on her Instagram page, she has endorsed brands like Sephora and Staunch India.
