Marvel announces the cast of its Fantastic Four reboot soon because casting rumours are getting out of control. For months, fans and industry insiders have speculated about who could star. As members of Marvel’s first family, several actors denied their involvement with the anticipated project. Mila Kunis recently denied she’s playing a female version of Ben Grimm, aka The Thing. After being spotted at a deli with Matt Shakman, the film’s director.
Once James Corden asked Mila Kunis during Wednesday’s episode of The Late Late Show if she’s going to be playing Susan Storm in the upcoming Fantastic Four film. So That ’70s Show actress responded, “Apparently if you go to lunch with somebody that is also in the industry. You then start working together, according to the Internet.
After going to a deli with director Matt Shakman one day. As she explained, “The next day I was somehow in Fantastic Four.”
Although the Luckiest Girl Alive star isn’t going to be in the reboot. Also, she did note that she does “know who is”. But Kunis didn’t share any more details, because “I don’t want to get in trouble with The Mouse [Disney executives], so none of you will find out.”
According to Daniel Richtman, Marvel is in talks with several actors for starring roles in Fantastic Four. Also, includes Adam Driver as Reed Richards, Margot Robbie as Sue Storm, Paul Mescal as Johnny Storm, and Antonio Banderas as the villain Galactus. Richtman has a reputation for being correct about potential castings. Marvel has yet to make any official announcements about who will star in the upcoming film.
Mila Kunis Responds To MCU Casting Rumour

When appearing on a recent episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden, Kunis was asked by Corden about the Sue Storm casting rumours. So, Kunis responded with “Apparently if you go to lunch with somebody that is also in the industry (…) you start working together, according to the internet”. This is a direct reference to the fact that Kunis’ spotted sighting with director Shakman. She will be directing Fantastic Four, which was the reason that the casting rumours started to trend online.
Corden confirmed with Kunis during the show. However, she was talking about Shakman. However, Kunis also added “We went to a deli. So, we had lunch together, and the next day I was somehow in Fantastic Four. I am NOT in Fantastic Four but I know who is, but I don’t want to get in trouble with the mouse.”
Is Mila Kunis Just Playing Coy?

Of course, there have been quite a few times when Marvel actors denied any involvement with upcoming projects. Also, there’s always that slight chance that Kunis might have a role after all. Also, it’s interesting that she’d tease knowing who might be appearing. So, it further implies that they may have finally cast the characters that we’ve been waiting for quite some time. However, the wait isn’t that much longer.
Fans have already begun to speculate online that Kunis may just be playing coy. Also, comparing her response to Andrew Garfield’s “I’m not the werewolf” line when asked about returning as Spider-Man for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Which turned out to be a big coy with Garfield’s Spidey return being revealed once the threequel hit theatres in late 2021.
The cast and crew of Fantastic Four have yet to confirm who will be playing Susan Storm.
