Nichole Sakura has emerged as one of the most popular faces in the entertainment industry. However, if you do not know, let me inform you that she is a gorgeous actress from America. We have seen her performance in Shameless. She portrayed the character of Amanda from 2014 to 2016, garnering mostly praise from the audience. However, there is one particular show which earned her international recognition. It is Superstore.
For all the fans of this NBC sitcom show, Nichole is a very endearing actress who portrayed the character of Cheyenne. This show first premiered on the 30th of November and continued till the 25th of March 2021. The show centres around a group of employees of a fictional big-box chain store named Cloud 9. It went on to bag many accolades and as the shooting for the finale wrapped up, Sakura spoke about it in an interview. Therefore, if you wish to know what the actress said, then this article is the perfect stop for you.
What Sakura Said
While speaking in an interview, the actress sounded nostalgic. She admitted that the show was a new chapter in her life and as it drew to an end, she is unsure about the future. The ending has really been a strange and difficult one for her to accept. The interviewer then went on to ask how her reaction would be while watching the series finale on screen.
To this, the actress stated that the entire crew of the show will watch the finale together. However, she also admitted that it will be an emotional experience, which might draw out tears from them. Recalling the last night of shooting the show, the actress stated that they were all prepared to accept that they were going to film the show for one last time. However, the director had other plans. He faked the final scene and announced that the show has arrived at its end. Thus, the actors had no clue that they were shooting the final scene of the show and thus, it was a bit dramatic.
Sakura admitted that she never expected the show to end in that manner and rather expected that she would know about the last shoot earlier. However, that was not the case and it left a weird feeling in her. The team also surprised the actors with a montage of scenes from the last seasons of the show. Recalling her feelings while watching the montage, she stated that it was a really emotional and sentimental moment for her.
Concluding Lines
In the interview, Sakura also stated that the crew of the show had become an extended family to them, being together for six seasons. That is what made it difficult to part without a wrap party, due to the pandemic. However, we hope that she and the entire show crew had a grand party while watching the show finale together. Cheers to team Superstore.
