Ozzy Osbourne provides an update on his health after announcing his retirement from touring
When asked about the media’s overreaction to his tour announcement, the 74-year-old Black Sabbath frontman provided a quick health update during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “Ozzy Talks” on his Ozzy’s Boneyard channel.
“This f-king press is driving you insane,” Ozzy told co-host Billy Morrison. I read in a magazine once that “Ozzy is on his final legs,” and I don’t believe I’m even close to dying.” His manager and wife, Sharon Osbourne, were also present when the decision to cancel the tour was made.
I’ve been working really hard to try to get back on my feet “He stated. Sharon ultimately said, “After yet another trip that I failed to execute properly,” “You know what, the reality is that you can’t keep planning tours and then failing or cancelling them.”

Ozzy Osburne’s Statement
And if I ever come to the point where I can tour again, that would be amazing as well “According to Osbourne. “Can you hit the road in a month?” you might ask me now. In my opinion, no. My mouth refused to form a yes. In other words, if I had the ability, I would employ it. But, I am unable to arrange tours at this time since I am not confident in my capacity to fulfil them effectively.”
The British singer stated that he was eager to return to the tour. But that it would not be anytime soon. He invited the gang to “come on, fellas,” and then waited. Don’t you think the fact that I’ve already had it is awful enough? Even if I feel better tomorrow and the doctor clears me to begin travelling. Furthermore, he stated I won’t be entirely recovered for at least another six months.”
Ozzy has expressed his sadness at not being able to start on a concert tour despite his desire. “You have no clue,” I said, and he continued. I feel like I’m in a butt-kicking competition on one leg.
Making albums is the only thing that keeps him going, he said. Regrettably, I won’t be able to keep up that pace indefinitely. I had to go outside, even though it was still incredibly painful. Nevertheless, there are occasions when I think, “You know, I’ve gotta take something,” despite my best efforts to resist painkillers.
I’ve recently enjoyed two nights of uninterrupted sleep. I didn’t get any sleep last night. Just keep me awake for a few days, and I’ll feel tortured. I’ll give you absolutely whatever answer you desire.

Ozzy Osbourne’s health issues
On Instagram, the rock artist announced his retirement from performing on January 31, 2023. Also, in order to focus on his health.
This is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to tell my committed followers. And I apologise in advance, “Ozzy made a statement. Perhaps you recall that I was in a tragic accident four years ago this month that left me with spinal cord damage.”
“All this time, my primary goal has been to return to the stage,” he ended. My voice has recently been in excellent condition. My body is still physically fragile after three operations. Also, stem cell therapies, countless hours of physical therapy, and cutting-edge Cybernetics (HAL) Therapy.”
