Paris Hilton has opted for surrogacy to bring her to the World. She was sure that she wanted her children and was determined to use a surrogate to make her dream turn into reality. Hilton reveals why she and her husband, Carter Reum, enlisted a surrogate to bring their children, Phoenix and London, into the world.
She has suffered abuse in her teens. Hilton was at a therapeutic boarding school in her teenage days in the 1990s, where she suffered immense abuse. She spoke about her issue and said that she suffers from rampant anxiety and panic attacks. Hilton finds it difficult to even breathe in such situations.
She said that she felt it would not be healthy for her as well as the baby growing inside someone with such high anxiety. This reason made her opt for surrogacy. She further added that her life and schedule are out of control. There never would’ve been the right time to do it because there is no time to do anything in Hilton’s life.
Paris Hilton and husband Carter Reum welcomed son Phoenix in January and announced daughter London’s arrival in November. She has shared how her reasoning is rooted in some deep wounds stemming from a harrowing time in her life.
Hilton detailed the abuse she experienced during her 11 months at Utah’s Provo Canyon School. This Is a Paris documentary that was released in 2020. Due to what she suffered, Hilton said she’s afraid of physically giving birth to a child.
As Hilton and Reum were awaiting their son’s arrival, they kept the baby on the way a secret, even from their friends and family. The couple has now become proud parents of a son and a daughter.
