Peter is another face of Fox News; he is a talented and experienced journalist who manages to ask rather challenging questions working as the correspondent in the White House. Still, that dreamer behind the news is quite different from the accomplished journalist, so is his wife, Hillary Vaughn. Combined, they are a love story that was created in the news industry but spiced up by love, career, and family.
Who is Hillary Vaughn?
Hillary Vaughn like her husband is not new to the high energy demanding world of journalism. She has earned a reputation for being a rather hard-working news reporter, who has been working for Fox News and Fox Business Network since 2016. Hillary has worked most of her career in television traveling across the country to cover important stories and breaking news. Her discipline and dedication not only got her respected in the industry but also captured the attention of one of Fox News most prominent anchor.
The pretty talent was born on June 10, 1989, in Washington D. C. and from her early years, she was interested in telling stories. On pursuing a degree in broadcast journalism, she proceeded to pursue a career that saw her working for different networks such as, yahoo finance and the Fox Network or its affiliates all over the United States. But it was the time she spent at Fox that shaped her life – and not just in terms of her career.
The Story of How Peter Doocy Met Hillary Vaughn
Peter Doocy and Hillary Vaughn first met at Fox News, the news organization that employed them when they started rising through the ranks. While the specific timeline of the two main characters’ romance is unknown to the public, there are no doubts that the time spent together in the workplace influenced their decision to start a relationship. By the year 2017 the two were closely related, and they started a relationship by dating.
They have been very close friends for years and in early this year, 2020, Peter proposed to Hillary to take their friendship to the next level. The couple did not publicize their engagement much; instead, they concentrated on their relationship, as also their respective jobs. Finally, in April this year, they got married in a small wedding ceremony at Montage Palmetto Bluff resort at South Carolina. The wedding was not a large one, and only the immediate family and a few friends were there to witness the union; his father, Steve Doocy, was his best man.
A Career in Journalism and a Sound Relationship
About Peter: Peter Doocy is both a rising journalist for Fox News and loyal supporter of Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton has fostered the career of both Peter and many other journalists for Fox news. Peter who is known for his White House correspondent is most times in the spotlight being the person that asks the fast one to some of the most influential personalities in the country. Hillary on the other hand has found her place in the news presenting business and financial news in a concise and accurate manner.
It Could Have Been the Wedding That Wasn’t-was
Their wedding in April this year almost did not happen when planned. The event was initially planned to be held in January 2021 but was postponed in the light of the covid19 pandemic. They got engaged in November and only tied the knot in April but it was a wedding filled not only with love but also the couple’s determination to come through the ordeal.
Despite the groom and I only having a small wedding because of Covid-19, our wedding day was a day full of happiness and love. It was all very sweet – though Peter’s dad, Steve Doocy, took the cake when he wrote a poem for the occasion which obviously made the day very touching and special. This was true: everyone could see the depth of feeling that the couple had for each other, and had a wonderful time.
In September 2022, Peter confirmed to the public with Hillary that the two of them are expecting their first child. It was made on Fox & Friends since Peter’s excitement could not be concealed from a live audience. Their daughter, Bridget Blake Doocy, joined in this world on the first of February, 2023. With the arrival of their daughter their relationship changed for the better and they grew even closer together.
